First Angle Orthographic Projection



After viewing the video clip, please comment on the followings.
1. How are the 2D drawings created in first angle orthographic projection?
2. Discuss about the layout of first angle orthographic projection drawing.
( Do discuss about the alignment and distance of the drawings.)

    2. The 'end' plate is put next to the 'front' plate, and the 'plan' plate is put below the 'front' plate.

    2. We can see all of the elevations?

  3. 1) They are taken from a view from top, side, and front. The way it is created is something like putting a screen behind all three faces and shine a torchlight, ten outline the shadow.

    2) It can be clearly seen from 3 views which make it clearer, as well as a dimensions can be shown easily as it can be written at the side.

    The thingys are put together. The end thingy is put with the front thingy and the end thingy is under the front one.

  7. 1) The 2D shapes are created by tracing the shape on the face of the 3 sides.
    2) We duplicate each 2D shape and put together to form a 3D shape.

  23. 1) The front, end and plan if seen in these angles can give the whole exact side figure that might not be together in the object.

    2) If seen one angle individually at a time, it is easy to see the whole layout of a side.
